ROYAL ABERDEEN CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

The ARCHIE Foundation is the official charity of The Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and Community Based Child Health throughout Grampian and the Northern Isles. 'Making the Difference' for thousands of children and their families every year we provide the extras such as new medical equipment, toys, specialist training for staff and support for families when their children are in hospital.

Every year over 8,000 children are admitted to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and 51,000 patients a year attend our out-patients clinics.

The major aim of the hospital is to provide world-class medical care in a family focussed environment.

The ARCHIE Foundation is the driving force behind this providing facilities such as our 20 room Parent Accommodation Suite which we provide free of charge to any parents wishing to stay with their child - regardless of whether it is needed for a night or several months.
