Giving to ARCHIE
Every child deserves to be healthy
- At the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, and in our local communities, we are working with the local NHS teams doing everything in our power to make this happen.
- ‘Making the Difference’ for close to 100,000 patients every year, the ARCHIE Foundation provides all of the extras that allow an enhanced level of care for local children.
- We provide key staff posts such as the ARCHIE Specialist Nurse, the ARCHIE Music Therapist and the ARCHIE Family Support Worker.
- We buy life changing medical equipment and fund specialist training to ensure the local healthcare teams can always provide the most up-to-date and high quality care.
- We Buy toys, books and computer games, run art workshops and provide musical concerts in the hospital – often at the bedside of children who are too sick to come to our communal play areas.
