The ARCHIE Foundation

Payroll Giving Calculator

Costing you less to give more...

The payroll giving calculator allows you to work out how much you would have to pay in order for The ARCHIE Foundation to receive the amount you want to donate.

Due to tax relief, the amount you give is less than what the foundation will receive!

Payroll Giving

You can support the ARCHIE Foundation by making a regular contribution through your payroll.

Give as you earn

Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.
For example, if you donate £10, only £8 comes out of your salary and the Inland Revenue pays the rest. If you're on a higher tax rate (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the Inland Revenue pays the rest.

How you'll be helping

By giving regularly from your salary you will be helping ARCHIE to make a difference for children in the Grampian Health board region. The fact that we know how much and how often you will donate means that we can budget effectively and plan ahead. And you will know that ARCHIE is able to make the best use of your regular, tax-free donation.

How your money helps sick children

“A regular donation of just £5 a month can help us provide specialist training for all NHS staff working with children in Grampian or the Northern Isles. A regular donation allows us to both invest now and plan for the future with confidence.”

“A one-off donation of just £25 can pay for an hour long face-painting session for children suffering from childhood cancers. This fun distraction can transform their day and really ‘Make a Difference’ to the child and their family.”

“A one-off donation of just £50 can pay for an hour long music session for a small group of children staying in the hospital. For very sick children, music can provide a means of escapism from their illness as well as a fun way to interact with family and new friends.”
