The ARCHIE Foundation

Donate Printer and Toner Cartridges

There are many ways to donate to the ARCHIE Foundation and this can involve recycling old printer cartridges, mobile phones and old clothes or other textiles!

In your office or place of work we can provide you with a printer cartridge recycling bin. Then, when it’s full you simply call the number on the box and someone comes and empties it!

You’ll be left with a new box and we’ll get a cash value for each cartridge. We’ll know it was from you because the boxes will carry your unique number on them. The service costs you nothing and the cartridges are recycled so it’s good for the environment too!

If you have an old mobile phone, you can hand it in to our office or post it to us at the following address:

The ARCHIE Foundation
Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital
Westburn Road
Aberdeen
AB25 2ZG

As with the printer cartridges, there’s no cost to you and we can generate a value for each handset as they are recycled for use elsewhere in the world!

And it doesn’t need to be IT based equipment. If you have any old textiles (clothes, bags, rugs, shoes, towels) then you can drop them off into one of our recycling bins. If they can be, these are recycled for use in Africa or if they are not suitable for this they are turned into rags for use in engineering firms and car garages. Either way the ARCHIE Foundation receives £75 each time one of our bins fills up.
