Textile Recycling Banks
Now even you’re old unusable clothes and sheets can support the ARCHIE Foundation! We have an agreement with Nathan’s Wastesavers that sees the ARCHIE Foundation receive funding in return for old textile donations generated in the northeast of Scotland.
Every time a recycling bin is emptied the goods are separated to either be sent for use in developing countries or, if they cannot be used for this, they are turned into rags for use in commercial garages and engineering workshops.
If you have any old textiles (clothes, bags, rugs, shoes, towels) then you can drop them off into one of our recycling bins. Whatever their end use, the ARCHIE Foundation receives roughly £100 each time one of our bins fills up.
