Office volunteers needed!
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist in the administration of the ARCHIE Foundation. Specifically, we are currently looking for:
| Title: | Volunteer Receptionist |
| Role: | To help us by answering telephone calls and directing members of the public coming into the office. |
| Purpose: | The ARCHIE Foundation has a busy office in the heart of the Children's Hospital and we need help manning this office. We need volunteers to help us from 2pm to 5pm (or for part of this time) as we currenly have no cover for our reception during this time. |
| Support: | Full training will be given and support once in the role will also be readily available. |
| Where: | This role is based in the ARCHIE Foundation Office, Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. |

| Title: | Collecting Can Volunteers |
| Role: | To help us distribute and bring in collecting cans in your local community. |
| Purpose: | The ARCHIE Foundation has hundreds of collecting cans distributed in shops, offices and cafes throughout the north east of Scotland but we struggle to collect them quickly when they fill up. We're looking for numerous volunteers to help us manage this by collecting in full cans and replacing them with new cans from your local area. |
| Support: | Full training will be given and mileage can be paid. You will not be asked to open or count the cans, just to collect in full cans and replace with new ones. |
| Where: | We currently have no collecting cans distributed anywhere in Orkney or Shetland so this is a priority. Otherwise, we are desperate for any help we can possibly get in Aberdeen, Inverurie, Stonehaven and Huntly. Thank you. |

There are currently no paid employment vacancies within the ARCHIE Foundation. ARCHIE Funded posts within the NHS are advertised by the relevant NHS authority (Grampian, Orkney or Shetland).
