ARCHIE Cup won with last putt!

The Inaugural ARCHIE Cup was battled for over 18 sun soaked, although wind swept, holes at Ballater Golf Club on Friday September 18th before the Dyce Bandits emerged victorious – but only by the smallest of margins.

Although over 50 golfers competed on the day, it took nerves of steal on the final putt of the final hole by the final group to snatch victory for the team from Dyce.

The trophy had always looked set to head to Dyce with the clubhouse leaders, another team of self-confessed ‘bandits’, the PSN Bandits leading the way for most of the day. However, with the last group sinking a birdie putt on the 18th victory was secured.

The competition was played for using the stableford scoring system with the best 2 balls from each team scoring on each hole. The final scores were as follows:
