Stuart Bungees for ARCHIE

Stuart Thomson (35) of Stuart Thomson Plumbing and Tiling Ltd, from the small coastal Village of Pitullie near Fraserburgh recently participated in a bungee jump to raise funds for The Archie Foundation.
Stuart did the jump through UK Bungee at the Braehead Xscape Centre, Glasgow on Saturday 19 September which was a grey and rainy afternoon!
Fortunately, the weather was the only miserable thing that afternoon as Stuart, along with his business associate, Stephen Duncan from Rosehearty, were both in "high" spirits, albeit a wee bit nervous!
The Bungee Jump was a gift from Stuart’s daughter Millie and Stuart had said from day one that he would not do the jump unless it was for charity.
Stuart decided to donate the funds raised to The Archie Foundation as it is such a worthy cause and at the end of the day, as he has two small children of his own, you just never know when you may need them!

Stuart commented that he was "fair chuffed" at the final figure of £1,100 which was handed over to Peter Hutchison, Community Fundraising Manager of the Archie Foundation on Saturday 10 October.
He also said that the generosity of all the people who sponsored him made it worthwhile and he would just like to say a special thank you to everyone concerned.
