Management training turns into fundraising!
Rob Buchan was taking part in an upper management Business Management School with his company GDF Suez recently, when the group were asked to present a case to each other about a local charity.
To make the task more interesting the participants were then asked to put a sum of their own money into a pot and the winning presentation would be able to donate the full amount in the pot to the charity of their choice.
Rob opted for the ARCHIE Foundation and managed to convince his colleagues that we were the most worthy cause!
GDF then agreed to match the spontaneous fundraising total already given brining the total donation up to £640!
Maureen Ryles, head paediatric physiotherapist in NHS Grampian agreed to kindly represent The ARCHIE Foundation and is pictured receiving a cheque from GDF Suez.
The ARCHIE Foundation is the official charity of The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and Community Based Child Health throughout Grampian and the Northern Isles.
