Zumba the Night Away for ARCHIE

Claire Keenan (pictured above), who is one of the North East's top fitness experts has teamed up with one of the top luxury hotels in Grampian, the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel, to host an exciting Zumba dance fitness party and BBQ in aid of the ARCHIE Foundation.

Zumba is an international dance-fitness phenomenon which is now being taught in over 100 countries and is suitable for all age groups and abilities. The routines work on the same principles as interval training, using fast and slow rhythms combined with resistance training. This provides participants with a fun, exhilarating workout that sculpts, tones and blasts fat.

On Friday 23rd July, 2010 Clare and the Ardoe House Hotel will be holding an all-singing, all-dancing Zumba party, and barbecue with music from DJ's from Aberdeen radio station, Original 106 FM. The Zumba party will kick off at 7p.m. and every ticket sold will raise £5 which will be donated to The ARCHIE Foundation - the Official Charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.

Claire commented, "Zumba doesn't feel like you're working out. It feels like a party, the best kind of workout. If you are new to Zumba this is a fantastic opportunity to try it out. Why not get a group of your friends together and come along and have a great time?"
