Turriff Schoolboy (9) organises Sponsored Swim Event for ARCHIE

Some parents find it hard to tear their children away from their DSi's and Wi's, but Turriff Schoolboy, Robert Gillespie, 9 has been extremely busy organising a sponsored swim event at Banff Swimming Pool, Banff, in an effort to raise funds for the Deveron ARCHIE Group, which is a sub-community group of the ARCHIE Foundation. The event will take place on Sunday 5th September, 2010 and participants must be over the age of 8 years old. So far 25 people have registered to take part on the day, and there is still time to enter.

Everyone who completes the swim will receive a certificate and there will be a fun and floats session afterwards. Please contact the ARCHIE Foundation Office on Tel: 01224 559559 for further details.
