Anais's 9th birthday party raises over an amazing £400!
Airyhall Primary School in Aberdeen helped raise money for the ARCHIE Foundation this winter, all in aid of a young girl who spent time in hospital in 2011.
Anais Gaschet, a 9 year old pupil at the school held her birthday party in December in aid of ARCHIE, to thank them for their help after she had an accident last year. A book sale was fully organised by the pupils at the Primary and an estimated £240 has been raised, an amazing figure and a huge help towards helping sick children in Aberdeen across the North of Scotland. It is also thought that an incredible £180-£200 has been raised from Anais’s birthday party, which will give a grand total of around £400!
"Everyone at ARCHIE would like to extend a huge thank you to Anais and her mother for all their efforts to make the fundraising events possible and also to Alison Thompson, the headmistress at Airyhall Primary for helping with the book fair and to all of the pupils who got involved with organising and helping raise such a fantastic total. Every penny raised will go to help 'Make a Difference' to sick children and their families in the North of Scotland." Cassie Thompson commented.
